The Report Builder is divided up into five sections, this will assist in the layout of the Objects and the overall style that the end report will have.

All of the sections that are not used will still be displayed on the report (as a blank space) unless it is manually assigned a zero value for the height under the properties.

In addition to the 5 sections offered in the Report Builder, there is the capacity for up to eight group footers (pertaining to Objects that have been grouped together).

Report Header

This will be displayed once, at the beginning of the Report.

Page Header

This area will be displayed at the top of every page of the Report.

Detail

This is where the displayed information for each record will reside.

Page Footer

This area will be displayed at the bottom of every page of the Report.

Report Footer

This will be displayed only once at the end of the Report.
